Distribution boxes with FlexiBase

The VKA distribution box product family offers users high functionality. The centerpiece of the product family is the rotatable base plate - the FlexiBase. The FlexiBase can be mounted on either side, with one side designed for the attachment of LSA-PLUS ➀/20 and Quante SIDTM-CD 20 DA strips in DIN technology. On the other side, an LSA-PLUS ➁ tray is already integrated. This allows users to quickly and individually decide on-site whether to use DIN or tray technology without needing to purchase additional trays. By turning the base plate (FlexiBase), a distribution box for LSA-PLUS ➁ can be transformed into a DIN distributor in no time.

Quante SID-CD and LSA-PLUS ➀ strips (mounting dimension 170 mm) can be easily snapped onto the base plate using special retaining clips, eliminating the need for screws. This significantly reduces assembly times. The retaining clips also serve as maneuvering hooks.

Cable entry is facilitated through plastic caps with pre-formed cut-out contours, which are integrated into the base group for sizes 4, 8, and 12. This allows the cover to be easily placed on and removed from wired distributors. The VKA family consists of 4 application-oriented sizes. The use of Quante SID-C strips optimally utilizes the capacity (up to 640 DA with Quante SID-C, see graphic).
