Hello everyone! I'm going to Iceland in July and would like to document my trip with videos of my hikes or adventures that I will experience. However, I'm a bit lost as to which (action) camera would be suitable. I came across the GoPro Hero, but can't decide whether this would be a good choice. Do you have any suggestions or tips on where I could look? :)

Since the Sony FDR x3000, I've been desperately looking for an almost aerodynamic action cam with 4K, GPS and an excellent stabiliser. I had always used it without a protective cover to reduce drag. Unfortunately, almost all current and well-known action cams on the market are like small bricks.

Dear Community I'm looking for an action cam that I can easily use as a tour guide on motorbike tours. One cam should be fixed to the rear when riding. A second cam should face forwards, but should also be able to be used away from the motorbike for cool shots (films and photos/pictures). Desired requirements: - Powerful battery - Simple operation - Sharp images even with vibrations - Poss. operation (On/OFF) via the handlebars - Sufficient memory for approx. 5 hours of image material per day - Variable mounting options Does anyone have any experience and can give me tips or even make a recommendation? Hi comrades For our ball sports club we are looking for a new GoPro to record our trainings/games. Unfortunately, I can't find accurate information anywhere about the biclk field of the newer GoPros (quite strange). Which models are best suited to - record as much of the pitch as possible (as wide as possible for handball)? - Perhaps also live streaming? Thanks for any feedback!

Hello together I am looking for an action cam that can transmit the image to a display wirelessly and with as little delay as possible. The cam is to be installed on an RC car. Since the driving route goes around the house, between trees, behind garden sheds/bushes/hedges and hills, most of the route is not visible to the driver with the naked eye. So the idea is that the driver receives images in real time and can thus navigate the car out of sight. (Analogue drones) With the usual suspects (GoPro etc.), which transmit the image via WLAN and have a delay of several seconds, this is not feasible. Do any of you have an idea how this could be realised? Many thanks in advance. Flo

For some time now I have been looking for a dashcam that I could use in the truck. My problem is that most of them are glued to the windscreen. But since I have a different vehicle every day, this is not ideal. The best would be one with a suction cup, but I can't find a usable one.

I can't decide between these two. Do you have any experience of which app is better? The price-performance ratio speaks for the Osmo Action... Which micro SD can you recommend, what write speed is needed for 4K 60fps? Thank you very much!

Good evening all For training videos in water sports, I am looking for a waterproof action cam with a wide angle (approx. 170°) and long battery life (>90 minutes). The video quality is not so important. A screen on the front would be a plus. After searching here for a while, I haven't found a suitable camera. Either the battery life is good, but then the angle is 145° (Dji Osmo) or 155° (GoPro) or otherwise the battery life is poor (Easypic Goxtreme). Which cam can you recommend? Best regards Thomas

As an architect / construction manager I am looking for a 360° camera to document projects. For example, to briefly record all rooms at the beginning of a project so that you can check things from the office that you forgot to photograph (with a normal camera). Or to document the construction site during execution. High-end quality for the final documentation is not a priority - great if possible, but otherwise it has to be rather pragmatic... Video functions are hardly in demand, still images would be much more important to me! Recommendations? Thanks! :)

Hello Together Am a bit confused as the GoPro Hero 2018 is not sold on Digitec. The camera is also not listed on the official GoPro website. Does this camera even exist or is this an alternative name for another camera? Does anyone know? Thank you very much!

Heyo Community Since I have enjoyed the wilderness and nature this year, possibly also thanks to Corona (I bought an outdoor hammock), I would like to buy an action camera (preferably with high resolution, 4k) next. It should not be a photo camera, as I have very little space in my backpack. Which offer (I am very much looking at the brand "GoPro", as some friends use such a product) is suitable for such outdoor trips, occasionally also for skiing or hiking? I briefly owned a DJI osmo pocket camera. To use the camera you have to register with DJI. I did that, but I only entered my email address. When I look at my DJI account, it only says my email address and username, so djiuser_xxirgedwas. I keep getting advertisements from DJI. Since I no longer have the camera, I have applied for account deletion. Now DJI is asking for my full name to delete my account. I don't see the point as my name is not listed anywhere. I would not do that. I'd rather delete my email account that DJI is registered with. What would you do?

With the action cameras, only 3D recording can be selected as a filter in the camera functions. However, this does not really apply to the selection of cameras. One should distinguish between the following points: - 3D (actually it should be called stereoscopy), it needs 2 lenses looking in the same direction to make this possible. (3D is only the effect that occurs in our brain when we see stereoscopic images. To create 3D you need other cameras). - 360° corresponds to all-round vision, but this is not necessarily built in with stereoscopy.

Hello all, I am a hobby photographer (cars, landscapes) and am slowly moving into carspotting. I have often had the opportunity to ride in sports cars. Most of the time, I have not been able to film these journeys satisfactorily from the interior with my DSLR. I own a cheap GoPro Session. I am actually very satisfied with the camera. Sometimes, however, the shots are very blurred, and that's a real pain to watch. A gimbal would be great, but it's very expensive. Is there a good action camera with integrated stabilisation? How does it work then? Optically or by software?

Salut, everyone. Please excuse my ignorance, but I'm a total newbie and just can't find the answers I want on the big world wide web. I have had this cool gadget for a while now and have already made a few recordings on nice sunny days. I filmed at 4k 60fps, made sure Protune was activated and tried to keep it as smooth as possible. The result, however, is sobering. Somehow the sharpness is missing, because the mountains in the background of the picture look blurred. I wonder what the reason could be. If you compare the pictures with those on Youtube, it's like night and day. I'll go out on a limb and even say that my IPhone 6s shoots better. So my question is: is it the camera or do you have to digitally sharpen the footage afterwards with a programme like Adobe Premiere Pro? How do you get videos as sharp as the ones on YT? As I said, the weather was perfect. I really don't know what to do and would appreciate your help. Thanks a lot

I am looking for the perfect (action) camera for a (Youtube) livestream for a marginal sport (table football or "Töggele"). We currently film tournaments with a GoPro (3+ black). It is connected to a TV via an HDMI cable and connected to the power supply via a USB cable. A tournament like this lasts around 8-10 hours. The memory card is always replaced once. Unfortunately, the cam gets quite hot and crashes every now and then. It's not easy to find the right camera for our needs. The game is extremely fast - with the GoPro, the image quality is very good. At the same time, it is also clear that it is not designed to be connected with 2 cables for 10 hours at a stretch and write to a memory card at the same time. Does anyone have experience with such requirements or camera recommendations? It is also important for us that the handling/set-up of the livestream is not too complicated. The "LG Action Cam LTE" sounds very interesting to me, but it is not yet available.
