Actually more of a support enquiry, but also here to ask what you think are useful filters. For me, filters such as sensor size and connections (HDMI, SDI) would be more important than the current filters. What do you think?

Couldn't the video codecs for the video cameras generally be given in capital letters (e.g. AVCHD vs mov)...just looks more professional...!

Has anyone ever heard/read about a video camera that enables lossless video recording? I would like to convert the film into a format that suits me on the computer first, or edit the film without creating artefacts...

Could you make a filter for the video codecs that the camera supports?

Hello, I am looking for a video camera that I need mainly for spotting aeroplanes. The first thing that is important to me is good image stabilisation with focus (without a tripod). The Panasonic HC-X20E has this, but if you move the camera faster and faster, the image jumps with it, which is really not nice. A good zoom is just as important as the quality of the shot. What kind of camera would you recommend? How is the Panasonic HC-X2000E? Thanks a lot :-)

Hello everyone, I am looking for a camera that can be placed at a height of about 5-6m behind a gate. It should be able to record for around 120 minutes without any problems. Due to the high positioning, it would be good if I could see the recording via an app, for example, to check the positioning and also start and stop the recording in this way. Once placed and set up, the camera does not move anymore. At the moment I use a Sony FDR-X3000R which works great, records the game with one file so I don't have to stitch the individual video files together. Only this camera is no longer available :-( a successor ??? Now I'm looking for a successor in case the Sony goes bye-bye. I have already tried GoPros (8 and 10) which suddenly switch off or get very hot, make x-files for a game, which was quite tedious. I have also tried various settings from forums, but nothing satisfactory. I am very satisfied with the Sony :-) Do you have any recommendations for a successor for the Sony?

Hello I am looking for a video camera for family outings, birthdays etc. It should not necessarily cost more than 1000.- and should perhaps also be able to take photos. Unfortunately, I have no knowledge in this area, so I would be happy if someone could help me. Thank you very much!

Hello together I'm looking for a good beginner's video camera with which I can go far and don't have to switch directly to a Sony A7 III. Or should I go straight for an A7? What can you recommend? I would also like to buy a gimbal (Zhiyun Weebill S). my budget is around 1,000Fr.

Hello everyone, I am looking for a camera that can easily be used to directly stream contributions from the school environment. The picture and sound quality should be reasonably good, easy to use and not too many cables. Streaming to YouTube or FB via iPhone or iPad would be ideal. What are your experiences? Which devices can you recommend? I looked at the Zoom Q series, but the 160° wide angle bothers me a bit.

Hello all, I am currently looking for a suitable video camera to capture moments from my future holidays, but I will also use it in my spare time. Therefore, it should be as compact as possible. However, the most important thing for me is the picture quality, so my budget is between 1500 and 2500 Chf. I have been browsing Digitec and have picked out two models that might come into question (I will gladly accept new suggestions): Sony FDR AX700 Panasonic HC-X1000E I would be very happy if someone could advise me. Many thanks in advance.

Hello, I am looking for a camera that can take good pictures outdoors as well as in the studio. My studio is mostly darkened. However, LED lights provide a certain brightness. the camera should therefore also be able to take "near-dark" shots and deliver good video quality. Besides that, it should have a good microphone. I am grateful for any help =). Many greetings.

Hello, I'll try this channel. I need a camera with which I can record at least 6x slower, or make a slow motion of 1:6 that is not visible to the eye, and still remain within an acceptable resolution. 150Fps in about a 2k image Are there already cameras that are affordable for this? Many thanks 🙏🏼

Hello all, I am looking for a camera for the following application: In our production plant, faults often occur only once every hour. So that no mechanic has to stand at the line all the time, I would like a video camera with which I can film a problem area, and when the problem occurs, I can view the problem on the camera in slow motion. Of course, it would be great if the recording was endless, i.e. only about the last 1 hour is visible on the camera. What kind of device could be the right one for me????

I am looking for a video camera / camcorder for stages and live music. It always has little light. Or then again light effects. It doesn't have to take photos. Should be easy to use as it will be used by different people. A good microphone would be great. Are these intelligent automatic settings also available for video cameras? Budget approx. 1000.-- even more if it is worth it. I see a lot of Panasonic or Sony. But I just don't know what to look for.

I would like to make videos of a band, so the picture quality and sound should be reasonably good but it shouldn't be too expensive. What can you recommend?

Hello Which camera do you recommend? I want to film floorball matches, i.e. as high a frame rate as possible so that we can then also watch the slow motion. Of course, the resolution has to be as high as possible. In these halls, the problem is often that they don't have such good light, so the camera should also present an optimal picture quality in poor light. Thank you very much for the feedback! PS: at the moment I have a Panasonic HC-X929

Good evening I would like to get a video camera that is suitable for beginners, so that the audio quality is also a little good without an additional microphone, can anyone help me? Shouldn't be too expensive but still offer good video quality as I think I want to make video recordings from outside later on.

Hello all, I'm a classic holiday videographer and as a result I keep a sort of picture book of my own (simply in video format). I own a GoPro Hero4 Silver and a respectable number of add-ons to it. I also recently bought a DJI MAVIC because I just couldn't resist (bad illness). But the videos that don't come from the Mavic are very shaky due to the lack of gimbal/IS. My main problem here is the videos that are not taken in extreme conditions (underwater, during sports), which my GoPro masters well, nor from the air, but the very "normal" videos on land, from the car, on the beach, etc... for this I either use my GoPro or sometimes my Samsung Galaxy S7. However, the image stability is very poor and the whole video is very shaky. I've been looking at gimbals for a while, but I'm a bit hesitant as I feel in 2-3 years they will be totally outdated and obsolete and no longer compatible with current cameras. This is another reason why I'm hesitant to buy a gimbal just for the GoPro, as it's no longer any use without a GoPro. The Fly X3 Plus, Dji Osmo + smartphone mount or similar would be interesting as it goes for both mobile phones and GoPros.... However, in general I am not sure if it is worth buying a compact video camera like a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX100 or similar and a gimbal, even if it would be a bit more expensive. The image quality and the ability to manually adjust zoom and aperture is certainly not bad, but is it worth nearly 1,500? What do you think? Do you have an alternative that produces beautiful and stabilised images? The budget is a bit limited due to the price of the Mavic.

These two video cameras are unfortunately not DCI 4K cameras, but "only" record in Ultra HD (3840 x 2160 instead of 4096 x 2160). Please adjust the specifications, thank you.

We need a camera with an analogue output for filming a CRT TV and direct output via a video console (e.g. on a beamer or TV). It can actually also be a surveillance camera or something like that. The camera must simply output the image directly without recording. merci!

Hello, I am looking for an inexpensive video camera to which I can connect a microphone via a 3.5 mm jack. The resolution should be at least 1920 x 1080 pixels. Hope for a recommendation. Thanks in advance Fabian

Hello together I would like to make YouTube videos. Especially drawing videos, so-called speedpaints, where the process of a drawing is finally compressed into a few minutes. I can already do this digitally, but now I would also like to do it with my traditional (hand) drawings. That's why I'm looking for a camera that shoots at least HD quality (actually, I prefer UHD) and is not too difficult to use, because I'm a camera beginner. It also has to fit on an appropriate tripod. And film well up close I think...and is some kind of direct transfer of the video material to the laptop possible or does it always have to be on an SD card first? Don't know my way around haha.... So.... is a good webcam enough for this or does it have to be a video camera? And do I need a professional microphone for clean sound recordings (if I don't want to do extra dubbing) or do video cameras also record in good sound quality? My budget is around 200-300 Fr. Just for the camera, without a professional microphone. It would be nice if someone could help me.
