Well equipped from head to toe - the outdoor classics

You know that fashion is an eternal restart. That's why you prefer to opt for classic but reliable equipment. The classics are here to stay, so I'd like to introduce you to our timeless products in the outdoor category. Say bye-bye to unstoppable trends that disappear as quickly as they appeared.
Is there such a thing as an outdoor classic? If there is, it's definitely a pair of Lowa boots, a The North Face fleece or a Mammut sleeping bag. What about Leki hiking poles then? They're all classics and you'll find them in our range.
Trekking and hiking boots
The "Renegade" from Lowa appeared on the market just over 20 years ago. The shoe is available in men's and women's models and in Lo or Mid versions. Different materials are also available, such as Goretex lining or a leather model.
The "Air Revolution" model from Meindl, meanwhile, has been around for 15 years for both men and women. The Air Revolution are available in different versions, including your choice of the flexibility of the sole and the height of your shoe.
Trekking and hiking poles
You're on the train when a group of hikers burst into the carriage. What do you see? Hiking boots, red socks and Leki poles. Another classic. The brand joined the Lowa Group in 1993. The "Corklite" is one of our best-selling models with its comfortable cork handles and ability to absorb shocks smoothly.
Backpacks
Founded in 1898 by Hans Deuter, the "Mechanische Segeltuch- und Leinenweberei", a canvas and linen weaving mill, is based near Augsburg. The company initially supplied the Bavarian Royal Mail with letter and courier bags and is now renowned for its rucksacks, particularly models with integral ventilation such as the "Zugspitze" and the "Gröden".
Tents
Many generations of mountaineers have already spent a night in a Salewa tent. Sleeping two, three or even four people, the robust dome tents in the "Denali" range will follow you on your adventures in summer, spring and autumn.
Sleeping bags
It all started in 1862 with Kaspar Tanner. He was a rope maker in the Aargau town of Dintlikon when Mammut was born. Initially making ropes, the company has grown to produce innovative items such as the award-winning "Kompakt Summer" sleeping bag. It offers a range of benefits, including being the most compact sleeping bag in its class.
Hiking mattress
The history of Therm-a-Rest began in 1971 with the idea of John Burrough, its founder: a night out should be as comfortable and restful as any other. A regular hiker, he knew what he was talking about. So John Burrough got two hiking friends on board and founded Cascade Design. The first insulating floor mat was developed in 1972, the patent was filed and the innovations and awards followed. The "NeoAir Venture" floor mat is ideal for beginners and occasional hikers.
Fleece jackets
The The North Face brand evokes the coldest and most difficult side to climb on the mountains of the northern hemisphere, the North Face. The company's logo depicts the inimitable silhouette of the Half Dome in Yosemite Park. Founded in 1966 in San Francisco, the company now sells fleece jackets such as the classic 100 Glacier Full Zip Jacket. The jacket can easily be combined with additional layers, making it an essential ally in fickle weather.
Headlamps
"Access the inaccessible" is the slogan of Petzl. In 1936, Fernand Petzl began exploring the "Dent de Crolles" caves in France. The caver then laid the foundations for the development and production of solutions for climbing, abseiling and safe travel in the dark. These included headlamps like the "Tikka". It is particularly suited to outdoor activities and travel, as well as everyday use thanks to its long-lasting illumination.
Camping scalds
The history of MSR began in 1969 with a newsletter from company founder Larry Penberthy on the subject of "Safety in the Mountains". Since then, the Seattle-based company has produced tents, snow boots, clothing and camping stoves such as the "Dragonfly". The two-tap system allows you to regulate the flame very precisely and heat large saucepans (up to 23 cm in diameter), so it can quickly feed any hungry mouths.
The Jonsson family has been dedicated to producing aluminium camping tableware since 1925 and already four generations. Products from the Trangia brand have been made for over 90 years in the village of Trångsviken in Sweden. This is the case with the "Aluminium Casseroles with Gas Burner 25-3 HA". Aluminium is a very light material that allows heat to be distributed quickly and evenly, preventing the middle of the pan from burning.
Gourds
Where were you in 1980 during the ice hockey tournament at the Lake Placid Olympics? The water bottles from Nalgene were in the front line and were able to witness the American team's victory at close quarters. The "Wide Mouth" water bottle was rated "very good" in the Saldo 2015 test.
Sports socks
Why should you wear misshapen, non-functional socks that torture your feet? Especially since X-Socks, founded in 1997 in Wollerau in the canton of Schwyz, has been making sports and leisure socks for over 20 years. The "Outdoor" model keeps your feet dry and prevents blisters.
First aid
Unpleasant, but almost inevitable: let's talk about foot blisters. Unfortunately, we all experience them one day. Fortunately, Compeed's water-resistant medium blister dressings provide relief for large heel blisters.
A small wound can spell big trouble on an excursion. A wound quickly becomes infected in the tropics, so it's essential to treat your wounds well with the "Family" first aid kit from Care Plus, for example. With tick bites becoming increasingly common, the kit includes a tick forceps.
