UV photography: nice n’ dark

UV photography is also known as black light photography, and rightly so: to do it, it’s gotta be pretty darn dark. And that doesn’t exactly make it easy. My colleague Nati, however, glows like a firefly.

My first foray into the world of UV photography was unimpressive, to say the least.

That’s why I armed myself with UV nail polish, UV mascara, UV body paint, and most importantly, with our resident beauty expert Nati, who let me doll her up with make-up and use her as a model. Check out the video to see what happened next, and what I learned while taking and editing the photos.

My interest in IT and writing landed me in tech journalism early on (2000). I want to know how we can use technology without being used. Outside of the office, I’m a keen musician who makes up for lacking talent with excessive enthusiasm.
