These 5 transitional jackets will be on trend in 2023

The changeable spring weather can make choosing an outfit quite difficult. The key: the right transitional jacket. Five styles to help you get through the changeable months in style.
The weather at the moment is pretty deceptive. It looks like a summer dress, but feels more like a down jacket. In other words: We've arrived in the transition phase - which, in my opinion, gets far too little love. I, for one, am looking forward to it. Not only because I'm a fan of onion looks, but also because transitional jackets have a lot to offer in terms of fashion. Like these five trend pieces here, for example - highly recommended by me.
1. voluminous bomber jackets
Do you love puffer jackets in winter? Then you can now switch to the lighter little sister, the bomber jacket, in autumn. For a trendy oversized fit, I recommend going up a size and opting for lined styles with plenty of volume.

2. lightweight maxi coats
Almost floor-length coats were probably my favourite item of clothing this winter - even in spring, I'm staying true to the maxi length that has the fashion world firmly in its grip. Particularly practical: especially in spring, when we often wear skirts with thin tights, the maxi coat adds another warming layer around the leg.

3. tweed and bouclé jackets
I got a bit fed up with tweed and bouclé about five years ago. Since last year, however, box jackets made from these neat fabrics have been popping up on my trend radar again - and this season at the latest, I'm ready to start looking for a suitable model for the transitional season.

4. boxy leather jackets
Wide leather jackets flood my Instagram feed. Biker-style models are particularly popular. They come in regular length or cropped and have a boxy cut. You can find the best treasures in second-hand shops. They can also be ones that you can tell have been worn for a long time: leather with patina is currently in high demand. It's worth investing in a high-quality piece, because the good old biker jacket will probably never go out of fashion.

5. oversized blazer
In icy temperatures, it serves as a second jacket under a winter coat, on fresh summer nights it warms bare shoulders and on sunny spring days it makes a great outer layer. A loose-fitting blazer made of thicker fabric with wool content looks high-quality and is particularly good as a transitional jacket.
