The product you need to maintain your lawn

Constant rainfall makes the grass grow faster. As soon as it's no longer damp, it's up to you! Get out the mower! We've got some tips on how to look after your lawn, and some products to help.
Our tips for lawn maintenance
The frequency of mowing depends on how fast the lawn is growing. During the main growth period in May/June, you can mow up to twice a week - but once is also enough.
For a beautiful lawn, pay attention to the following points:
- The cutting height of the lawn should be between 4 and 6cm.
- The lawn should be mown again after it has grown 4 - 5cm.
- An ornamental lawn is cut a little shorter - approx. 2.5-4cm depending on the nature of the soil.
- To prevent the soil from drying out, it is advisable to cut approx. 1.5cm longer in periods of extreme heat or drought.
- Never cut more than half the height of the grass. If the grass has grown a lot, you should not cut it to the normal height straight away, as this could damage it. To reach the normal cutting height, you can re-mow it a few days later.
- Always cut your lawn at the same height.
For the perfectionist gardener
Hedge trimmers are optimal for small areas, corners and edges. You no longer have any excuse for an unkempt garden.
For the classic gardener
Conventional lawnmowers are ideal for larger areas. An air-cushion model is easier to use on rough ground and ensures quick and easy mowing.
For the modern gardener
An automatic lawnmower is just the thing for people who like to take it easy and still want to enjoy their lawn. The lawn is mown without you having to move a finger. While the mower is at work, you can do other gardening chores or relax on the deck chair.
