The fanny pack trend is here to stay
It's reassuring to know that everything comes back in fashion. It gives me the freedom to ride one trend wave or wait until the next one. This time I'm personally skipping the current fanny pack hype. But I have to admit that wearing everything "on the stomach" has its advantages.
When designers or the fashion avant-garde bring the sins of youth back onto the catwalks and streets, you know: It was a good idea to keep the Buffalo platform classics or 90s tracksuits in the basement. Even though I'm still sceptical about the current fanny pack comeback - I wish I could just dig one out of the wardrobe and simply test it out before committing to a new model. In fact, even as a child of the nineties, I haven't had one yet. "Don't worry": I was there for other dodgy 90s phenomena. What would my childhood have been like without tattoo chains or cycling shorts!
Fresh styles make you spoilt for choice

Thanks to fresh designs, fanny pack styles are now on a charming "next level" compared to the once notorious tourist and pensioner fanny packs. They score points with their combinations of different materials or varied prints. How you carry them is also up to you. Some favour the shoulder over the hip.
"Smooth operators" thanks to features
Their features are also on a par: Compartments for neat separation of goods, numerous zips and buckles for a personalised fit. So you can stroll through the city with a coffee mug in one hand and "smoothly" pull your mobile out of your pocket with the other
