Shape your eyebrows to perfection

Eyebrows are an important part of make-up, although they are often neglected. They frame the face and, depending on how they are emphasised, can also be a statement. This makes it all the more important that they are shaped, groomed and visually filled in. We'll tell you what "tools" you need for this.
The preparation
Before applying make-up, the eyebrows should be plucked. The easiest way to pluck eyebrows is with tweezers. There are also other techniques you can use, such as threading or waxing. However, you should definitely put yourself in the hands of a professional for this.

If your eyebrows are too sparse and fine, you can regularly treat them with an eyebrow serum. This stimulates hair growth and can help to bring life back to the "bald patches".
There's a trick to make your traced eyebrows last longer. Powder the eyebrow area with a translucent powder before you start. The subsequent products will adhere better to the matte base.
Statement eyebrows
An eyebrow gel is best for heavily framed brows. It dries quickly, is smudge-proof and usually lasts all day. Use a fine brush to trace the upper and lower line of the eyebrows. You can find a detailed review of "Wunderbrow", the product listed below, here.
Fill in the gaps in the eyebrows by drawing fine lines with the brush. These are reminiscent of fine hairs and are ideal for defined yet natural-looking statement brows. Finally, tame the eyebrows with an eyebrow brush. Brush all the hairs upwards first and then backwards towards the ears.
Natural eyebrows
If you prefer a natural look, you are better off using an eyebrow pencil. This can be used to conjure up soft hairs in the eyebrows and discreetly fill in bald patches. Depending on the pressure applied, you can also vary the colour intensity.
Powder can also give your eyebrows a natural look. To do this, fill in the brows with a fine brush and the matching colour product. By the way, you don't have to buy an eyebrow powder. If you already own an eyeshadow in the right colour, this can also do the trick.
Finish off your eyebrows with an eyebrow gel and shape them.
Eyebrow tinting
You can easily colour your eyebrows yourself at home. But be careful: dye first, then pluck, otherwise the colour will get stuck in the pores. Choose the shade to match your hair colour.
Pencil, gel and brush products are ideal for travelling. This allows you to freshen up your eyebrows perfectly at any time.

When it comes to office supplies, I believe in form and function. From pens, scissors, paper notes to glittery glue and funky folders. That’s what I’m about at work. When I’m not busy checking out the latest desk accessories, I enjoy jetting off to remote corners of the world, lifting weights or taking an evening walk.
