Organising ideas for the bathroom
To make sure nothing gets in my way in the bathroom, I use a few tricks to create more storage space.
As a lover of tidiness, I avoid clutter. Especially in the bathroom, where things have to be done quickly in the morning. Because it's one of the smallest rooms in my home, I need smart storage solutions. Over time, I've found a few that give me enough freedom of movement.
Rely on boxes, baskets and co.
Stackable boxes get the most out of mirror cabinets or wall shelves. They are particularly good for storing small care products such as make-up. There are practical models with drawers or transparent solutions that show you where things are.
Two-in-one solutions

Anything that combines several functions in one is your best friend in the bathroom. If you don't have a mirror cabinet, for example, there are designs that combine a mirror and shelf in one.
Use the height

Things to hang up give you an overview: whether it's a shelf for your medicine cabinet or door hooks for your clothes, they save space on the floor when hung vertically. Storage baskets are not just for dirty laundry: I attach models with handles to wall hooks and use them to store things like toilet paper or styling tools for my hair.

There's nothing you can do about the space your shower cubicle or bathtub takes up. But you can utilise it. Use shower and bath shelves to store care products. Utilise the space above your bathtub and install shelves where no water can get in. One or two plants with leaves hanging down will also look good here. The same applies to washbasins. A matching vanity unit - et voilà: you can make the most of the space.
Ladders are suitable as a storage solution for towels or bathrobes as well as an eye-catcher. For example, you can mount a decorative light on them to make your bathroom cosier. I particularly like them because they offer a lot of space and save me the hassle of drilling.
