Oh, a rainbow!
Simple and uncluttered, but decorative all the same. This season, the rainbow is the trend in interior accessories. But it's not always in the form you'd expect.
Some have a coin others a curve: the rainbow is currently a popular motif for refining the design of ceramic or textile objects. Its form appears as an abstract motif, singly or in multiples. Contrary to our expectations, the spectacle of Mother Nature does not appear in the typical colours of the rainbow, but in muted shades. The rainbow motif in ochre tones is neither kitschy nor overly colourful, making it easy to combine. Sometimes the extrapolation is such that only the bow shape reveals the source of inspiration. This has the advantage of making the pattern "grown-up" and allows it to be used in more than just a child's bedroom.

The rainbow is part of a whole: circles, waves, arcs and rounded corners have been commonplace since last year. They are summed up by the term "Curvy" design. In architecture and furniture design, arches convey a sense of continuity and calm. That's why furniture with round silhouettes is often used in modern houses that have evolved from Brutalism. Buildings in this architectural style are crudely crafted and characterised mainly by straight lines and concrete. Curves soften corners and make minimalist interiors more welcoming.
