Not ready to leave: the "Venturi" by Veja
At the end of the summer, once you've taken off your Birkenstocks or sandals, it's time for a new pair of trainers, like Veja's 'Venturi' model, which is very much on trend at the moment.
The fashion industry is always one step ahead. As I write this in 30-degree shade, I'm already thinking about the autumn fashions to come and the trends emerging on Instagram.
Scrolling through the stream of images there, I keep coming across the "Venturi" trainer, a unisex model from Veja, which has become the darling of influencers. And I'm convinced that it will resurface en masse once the mercury drops again. Why? This model is the perfect blend of retro and cool.
The trainer's sleek design, with its retro lacing and suede and mesh inserts, is at odds with the thick sole. Here's how to give in style. The sturdy Chunky sole, made from 50% natural rubber, makes this shoe a comfortable everyday companion that cushions every step.

As long as the temperatures allow, we can then pair the trainers with a culotte skirt, denim dress or even shorts. I'm really looking forward to autumn, when I'll finally be able to wear my trainers with a leather trousers in black, an oversized grey knitted jumper or a checked blazer. What's also pretty is Natalie's outfit, the blue model with simple clip-on trousers.
Oliver, on the other hand, shows that the marriage of jeans and trainers still has a bright future ahead of it. If the dress code allows, venturis will look great with sports or fabric trousers, wide-legged why not.
This trendy model is available in different colours such as blue, black, light grey or Nude. The only downside? The Venturi is not yet in our range. But I'll be insisting to our Category Management that they stock the warehouse before the end of the summer.
