Little golden kitchen treasures

All that glitters is not gold but still looks gorgeous. Unlike standard kitchen utensils, these beauties have decided to look stunning.

In my last post, I put together a handful of designer pieces for your kitchen (in German) that outshine your regular utensils. I normally go for grey accessories to keep things calm. But every now and again enjoy stirring things up a bit by adding gold touches.

It would be a pity to hide pretty kitchen helpers in a draw. Personally, I like to hang them from a wall rack. They look great upside down and are at hand when I need them. Try it out for yourself! Alternatively, you can use shelves with built in or individual wall hooks. A tall ceramic vase can also double up as a holder for cooking cutlery.

For a bit of glitz, I look to the Scandinavian brand Bloomingville. They really know how to glam things up and dip a standard sieve in gold – and turn it into a gem.
