"It's not a flamethrower, Mr Escobar"

Does it have a cable or not? And can you steal a flamethrower if it's not a flamethrower? People really do kill time with questions like these.
There are difficulties that everyone can understand: Relationship problems, cluelessness about officialese or trouble with neighbours, for example. But there are also problems that are so far removed from us ordinary consumers that we don't even share the same galaxy.
Cable clutter
Cables look like shit. Dyson knows this too and has simply left them out of the adverts for its new fans. The British self-regulatory organisation for the advertising industry, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), doesn't like this at all - it therefore labels the advertisement as misleading. This, in turn, does not please Dyson. The hoover professionals counter that they have never advertised such a feature and would probably do so if it existed. The ASA, however, was not impressed and said the same to Dyson. As long as the fans are not actually wireless, Dyson should keep its hands off such implications.
One question remains: When was the last time you obviously saw cables in an advert?
It's not a flamethrower, Mr Escobar
The dispute between Elon Musk and Pablo Escobar's brother is taking on far more absurd forms. Roberto de Jesús Escobar Gaviria is accusing Elon Musk of stealing ideas. This concerns the Tesla billionaire's flamethrower "Not a Flamethrower", which was published last year. According to Gaviria, a Tesla employee visited the Escobars in 2017 and spied on them. As the criminal clan has lost the race against time and its version is only now on the market, Pablo's brother is even considering legal action. That is, unless Musk fulfils one of the following three demands:
100 million dollars in Tesla shares
10 million in cash

This is what he told the British magazine "Metro". He also explained the reasons for his flamethrower idea: "I like to burn money. Sometimes it's necessary for practical reasons." Sure, who doesn't feel that way? Incidentally, Musk responded to all the accusations calmly on Twitter: "It's not a flamethrower, Mr Escobar." Burn.
And suddenly my 08/15 problems are dear to my heart again.
