How do I water in hot weather?

Are you too hot to cool off every evening in the river or lake with a cold drink? Well, you're not alone. Think of your plants: they're thirsty too. We'll show you the various watering techniques available to you.
Outdoor watering
To prevent the sun from scorching your plants, it's advisable to water them early in the morning or late in the evening. This way, less water evaporates and you also save money when it comes to usage.
Automatic
As watering time for your plants is relatively inhumane, automatic watering is a good solution. Here, using a timer, you can set a time when your plants or lawn should be watered without fear of the sun damaging them. There are many Gardena automatic watering solutions. For example a watering timer, the "smart watering" set or a sprinkler.
Manual
Not everyone wants automatic installations in the garden. Personally, I find watering my plants myself in the evening relaxing. When it comes to manual watering, there are several options open to you: the garden hose, the traditional watering can or you can fetch water from your rainwater barrel. Many garden enthusiasts love watering their plants with rainwater, because it's a cheap and environmentally friendly method. If you want to do without the constant back and forth and filling up the watering can, you'll be perfectly equipped with a watering pump.
Indoor watering
For the flat, the reservoirs are smaller than those used for the garden. A small watering can or spray bottle for tropical plants, for example.
Manual
Depending on the type of plant, you can spray low-limestone water on the leaves or flowers, or water the soil with a watering can. Bördy is easily filled through the open beak: using a clay cone planted in the soil, the bird delivers water little by little, allowing you to space out watering.
Automatic
If you're going on holiday, you'll also need to look after your plants while you're away. With us, you'll find an ideal solution for every number of pots. The Parrot Pot is a plant sensor for pots with automatic watering. Even during a longer absence of up to a month, the plant is automatically watered. The Blumat solution is also very practical: 3 automatic sprinklers manage the watering autonomously. As soon as the soil becomes drier, a vacuum is created, triggering irrigation.
The Gardena holiday watering system is ideal for watering up to 36 potted plants. The water is transported into the pots using a supplied pump and waters the plants using a drip system.
