From making pottery plates, to ironing fuse beads, to glueing on googly eyes, Switzerland is in the grip of handicraft fever. In 2022, Galaxus sold 20 times as many arts and crafts products as in 2019. Meanwhile, sales of model-making products quadrupled. Thanks to social media, the boom is still going strong this year, with #handmade trending on TikTok, Insta and other platforms.

Women are more likely to have craft glue on their fingers

Do you do arts and crafts in your spare time? What’s your next project going to be? Which Insta or TikTok creators can you recommend to the Galaxus Community? Let us know in the comments!
