Fun and games around the table

Games used to be an integral part of my daily life. Today, I've made design my passion. I'm as into design as I was into table tennis as a child. Two tables from the Spanish brand RS Barcelona show that it's possible to combine the two. These models are just as attractive as a games table as they are as a dining table.

The joys of ping-pong after dinner

The designers at "RS Barcelona" have a very specific aim: to make you (and me) laugh. Antoni Pallejà Office achieves this with his "YM" table for playing table tennis. It combines a sporty look with interior elements such as oiled wooden legs and lacquered metal.

After the game of table tennis, you can store sports accessories such as the net, rackets and balls in the compartment in the tabletop provided for this purpose. The models are available in three different sizes and styles: depending on their shape, up to 12 people can sit around them. The tables come in black, white and natural walnut.

The pleasure of playing at half-time between the main course and dessert

It's only when you look at the "RS#Dining" table for the second time that you realise it's made for playing table football AND eating. This is made possible by the transparent glass top above the playing area! This table is particularly popular, even in the catering industry. In fact, that's where this original idea originated: designer Rafael Rodríguez and top chef José Andrés designed the model together. As well as restaurants, the table is also perfect for office break rooms. And it has a great advantage: if a ball comes out of the playing field, you're protected thanks to the glass top.
