From caramel to pistachio: dark chocolates from Lindt
Now in stock, fans of dark chocolate will find four new varieties from Lindt. The high cocoa content of at least 47 per cent characterises the intense taste.
The significantly higher cocoa content compared to milk chocolate ensures a bitter flavour. Less cocoa also means less sugar. In this sense, dark chocolate is often considered the slightly better choice. With their antioxidant effect, the flavonoids contained in cocoa are said to protect the skin from UV damage and prevent cardiovascular disease. And now researchers have discovered that these substances are also said to stop biological ageing.
If you were still looking for a valid reason to snack, now you have it!
The new flavours from Lindt
The traditional manufacturer Lindt has launched four new flavours from the «Excellence» range.

This variant combines dark chocolate with biscuit pieces. The manufacturer describes the taste as a combination of intense cocoa flavour and balanced sweetness.
This variation goes one better in terms of flavour. In addition to the light crunch, there is a hint of caramel, which makes up three per cent of the content. The biscuit content is eight per cent.
The flavour with wafer pieces also focuses on crunch. According to the manufacturer, it harmonises particularly well with coffee, tea or even a glass of wine. As all of the varieties mentioned may contain traces of nuts, people with allergies should switch to other products.
This dark chocolate contains ten per cent caramelised pistachio pieces. Here, the slight bitterness of the cocoa meets the sweet flavour of the pistachio and a hint of salt.
If you prefer sweeter chocolate variations, you will also find suitable alternatives from Lindt in our range. From the well-known Lindor balls to milk chocolate with salted caramel.
