Duromatic Comfort" pressure cooker from Kuhn Rikon

According to the manufacturer, the "Duromatic Comfort" from Kuhn Rikon combines the properties of a pressure cooker with modern technology. We now have it in our shop.
A pressure cooker utilises a simple physical principle. The tight-fitting lid ensures that the pressure inside increases during heating. This shifts the boiling point of the water and you cook at significantly higher temperatures instead of 100 degrees Celsius. As a result, the food cooks faster.
The new "Duromatic Comfort" from Kuhn Rikon works in exactly the same way. According to the manufacturer, it should save you up to 70 per cent energy and cooking time.

The pressure cooker is made of 18/10 stainless steel and has a volume of five litres. The number combination "18/10" means that the steel used is enriched with 18 per cent chromium and 10 per cent nickel. Such an alloy is more durable and rustproof.
According to Kuhn Rikon, the pot is suitable for all hob types including induction. However, it must not be put in the dishwasher.
A pot with Bluetooth connectivity
A special feature of the "Duromatic Comfort" is its connection to an app. A heat sensor integrated into the pot communicates with your smartphone or tablet in real time via Bluetooth. According to the manufacturer, the app offers access to almost 200 recipes and provides you with information during cooking as to when you need to adjust the temperature.
If you don't have another pot to hand, the "Duromatic Comfort" also works without a wireless connection and lid lock. It is then simply a conventional saucepan.
