Amsterdam Acrylic paint Standard Series
Transparent yellow medium, 120 ml
Playing with Lego bricks is a great pleasure for most people - unfortunately, tidying up is less so. As leaving them lying around is simply not an option due to the high risk of injury, my DIY article today is dedicated to the storage of Lego bricks.
You've either already realised that stepping on small Lego pieces can be a pain, or you've read about it here in Dominik's article. I have a very simple DIY project for you today so that you can store the little things in a themed way from now on and avoid this happening to you in future.

I recommend pouring a good amount of yellow acrylic paint into your glass container, closing the lid and shaking vigorously. Then screw the whole thing back on and place it upside down on a beige newspaper so that the excess paint can run out.
I (unfortunately) took a slightly different approach to colouring and used a brush to paint the inside of the glass layer by layer. This led to an irregular and streaky colour result. You're always smarter with hindsight.
In case you're wondering why I didn't just spray the whole thing from the outside: It would have been an option too, of course, but I like the glassy effect I get this way better.
Once the whole thing has dried well, you can give it a face with waterproof pens and store your small Lego bricks or other small items in it.
If you don't have the time, patience or talent to do it yourself, you can also find here ready-made Lego storage options.
As a massive Disney fan, I see the world through rose-tinted glasses. I worship series from the 90s and consider mermaids a religion. When I’m not dancing in glitter rain, I’m either hanging out at pyjama parties or sitting at my make-up table. P.S. I love you, bacon, garlic and onions.
