Decoration that puts all its cards on the table

Cooking isn't really your forte? I know what it is. But when it comes to tableware, I've got more than one trick up my sleeve. And when it comes to tableware, a few details can make all the difference.

I'm comfortable with design, but cooking is a different kettle of fish. I make up for this lack with table decoration, which makes my guests happy, at least that's what I thought I saw in their eyes. Don't get me wrong, cooking is fun, but for me things get really interesting when the dishes are simmering and I can finally get down to the table.

The concept is golden

I think about a theme beforehand depending on the occasion and choose the accessories that will go well with it. My basics? White crockery and transparent glasses, around which I play with the spaces: trays, bowls and cake dishes for example.

For added elegance, I make sure that no packaging ends up on the table. For example, anything packaged in cardboard or plastic can be placed or decanted into a bread basket, sugar bowl or napkin holder to match the chosen theme.

For a more elegant look, I make sure there's no packaging on the table.

The finishing touch

The finishing touches, apart from the crockery, mainly involve the accessories and decorative objects that will add a touch of atmosphere and sublimate the current season: flowers perfectly chosen for the occasion, fresh basil and delightful candles.

Space-saving
For amuse-bouches, the shelf performs the same functions as a tray. On the other hand, it saves space and also becomes the focal point, in short, the element that sets the tone for the layout of the rest of the decoration, around which you can play with the different heights, for example. Next, why not place a cake dish on it, followed by a few lower bowls and dishes here and there? Single-use crockery, also available in many styles, will suit themed parties that you're only organising once. See for yourself what it looks like:
