Maybelline’s glitter mascara: this diva’s craving the spotlight
by Natalie Hemengül
We have over 47,000 beauty products in our range. And the trend is rising. A little help in the search for the real treasures among them won't hurt. My recommendation of the month: the primer for Wawawoom eyelashes.
For a long time, I was too lazy to realise the benefits of lash primers. Today I know that I can no longer do without them. At least since I discovered the "Lash Building Primer" from Clinique. It's a kind of "undercoat" for your mascara. A base, so to speak, on which you can apply your mascara. [[productlist:6357430]]
You have to have a pretty good reason to add another step to someone's beauty routine in the morning when time is already tight. Below is the list of mine after a two-week test:
To achieve the best results, I recommend using an eyelash curler as a first step. From there, it's straight on to the primer. Apply it like a normal mascara. You will see that it covers your lashes in a subtle, white coat. It is then recommended that you allow the primer coat to dry thoroughly before applying your regular mascara. In my experience, however, this is easier to apply and build up if the primer is only slightly dry. You can tell that it has dried out completely because the white layer is practically completely transparent and the lashes have stiffened slightly.
I'm currently using the primer's counterpart, the "High Impact Lash Elevating" mascara, also from Clinique. But don't worry, the primer works in combination with any mascara. [[productlist:6520787]]
As a massive Disney fan, I see the world through rose-tinted glasses. I worship series from the 90s and consider mermaids a religion. When I’m not dancing in glitter rain, I’m either hanging out at pyjama parties or sitting at my make-up table. P.S. I love you, bacon, garlic and onions.
