With our jumpers, winter jackets and thermal underwear, we know how to keep ourselves snug in the winter months. But what about our four-legged friends? Sometimes their fur isn’t enough to ward away the cold. Find out how to keep them cosy this season.
No one likes being cold. Your furry friends probably prefer being inside at this time of year and may well be heading towards the radiator right now. As the temperature dropped, the Galaxus team and I put our heads together to see how we could help pets enjoy winter. I’ve picked out 12 products from our pet range that are all about staying snug.

Aquatic-themed den
I can’t vouch for how relaxing it is to sleep inside a shark, but this cat and dog bed is certainly comfy and cosy. The added extra is you get to scare away any intruders at the same time.

Dogs enjoy a good bath, too. And just like us, they want to be able to slip into a dressing gown afterwards. Rodent-friendly log cabin
Every guinea pig needs a winter home. And this log cabin makes the perfect pad. That’s what they’d tell you if they could speak, of course. The little wooden house is homely and snuggly warm. The best bit is, it’s ready for your guinea pigs to move straight in.
Elegant abode
«The guinea pigs think they’re the first to have a winter retreat? Us canines have had our own pads long before them,» thinks the dog. When you look at this luxury hut, you realise they’ve got a point. The dog house has it all, from underfloor heating to two bathrooms, four bedrooms and a double garage. Basically, everything a doggy heart could ever desire.
Wearable sleeping bag
This dog onesie looks incredibly warm. So much so, I’d probably break into a sweat if I were a canine. But I can imagine a long-haired dog loving this in winter after they’d just been groomed. This coat is also waterproof, meaning it protects your four-legged friend from the wet and the rain.

Let’s not forget reptiles. They’re used to a completely different temperature, so a Swiss winter can be lethal for them. To help them forget about the winter outside, put several of these great lamps in their terrarium. They’ll then be convinced Switzerland is positively tropical.

We normally sell hay as rodent food and snacks, which you’d expect as it’s very healthy. However, it does have another use.
