Be my guest: Dining tables for any occasion

I enjoy having guests, be it planned or spontaneous ones. My extendable dining table offers seating for up to six people. How many people do you usually host? We have dining tables in any shape and size; let’s see which one fits your personal VIP guest list.

Tables for two: 80 – 120 cm in length

Tables that aren’t larger than 120 cm are ideal for a breakfast for one or a cosy dinner date. Fancy relaxing and reading a book? Small dining table is great for that, too.

Tables for four: 120 – 140 cm in length

Round tables blend into almost every room and even fit in corners. No matter how many guests you’re hosting, nobody will feel left out at a round table. Those up to 120 cm in length are ideal for four guests.
Square tables give your room an edgier look, while seating up to four people. It will be cosy, but your guests are sure to enjoy the meal just as much.

Dining at a round or oval table is especially pleasant, as there are no corners to get in anyone’s way. Picture: House Doctor

Tables for six: 180 – 200 cm in length

You’ll need a table that’s at least 200 cm in length if you’re planning to host six guests. That’s if you don’t want your dinner party to turn out very cosy – which, undeniably, may be desirable. If you usually host fewer than six guests, a 180 cm table is large enough.

Tables for four eight to ten: 200 – 220 cm in length

Flexible solutions

Offering the possibility to welcome spontaneous guests, extendable tables are as popular as ever. Some are extended by adding extra segments while others come with an integrated mechanism to convert them into a longer table.
