A Tech Affair episode 167: Xbox leaks, the Unity debacle and "Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty"

New Xbox consoles, potential Nintendo takeover and Bethesda remakes: the monumental Microsoft leak is causing a stir. Unity's new pricing model causes a scandal and "Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty" causes delight.
The legal dispute between Microsoft and the FTC has brought new documents to light. They contain explosive information about new Xbox consoles, takeover bids for the last remaining gaming giants and new games, most of which are likely to skip the PS5.
Unity's new pricing structure is also causing a stir. The outcry among game developers is huge. Some studios are even threatening to delete their games rather than comply with the regulation.
Buffy fans can only supposedly rejoice at a planned remake. The vampire slayer series from the 90s is rising from its grave, but not in the way most people might hope.
We have almost only positive things to report in the games corner. "Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty" not only impresses graphically, but also in terms of gameplay. This also applies to "Mortal Kombat 1", even though we play it primarily for the story.

Only a lack of time and money prevents me from trying out every game there is and decorating my shelf with rare retro consoles.
