7 home warmers you need right now
Winter is currently here in abundance. All the more reason to snuggle up at home and cosy up. If your heating is already at the limit and you're still freezing, the following accessories will make your temperature and your heart beat faster.
Even though the birds outside my window chirp at me in the morning that it's spring, the temperatures are currently telling me otherwise. That's why I prefer to make myself cosy at home. With must-haves like a cosy blanket and tea, it's instantly warmer on the sofa. Here are seven accessories that will heat you up too:
1. cosy blanket
You know the moment: you're already glued to your favourite TV series and somehow you're getting cold. The duvet seems to be unreachably far away, as does the motivation to get up. For cases like this, I've bought myself a blanket that belongs to the sofa like my side table. So it's always to hand and I'm happy.
2. jug
Tea warms from the inside and stays particularly toasty if you have a model that can maintain the temperature for as long as possible thanks to candlelight. There are solutions for pure tea bags with a sieve as well as conventional pots for an extensive "tea time".

3. carpet
After you've set the alarm clock to "snooze" for the third time, ninety per cent of your thoughts revolve around the question: How do I get out of bed and into the cold world? Carpets create smooth transitions. By the bed and in the corridor, they accompany you on the way to the shower and warm your feet.
4. fluffy cushions
Whether for clothing or decorative cushions - it's worth opting for fabrics such as wool because they store and return heat.
5. hot water bottle
I usually use hot water bottles when I have a stomach ache. I have now discovered that they are also an excellent source of warmth on cold days. And they have a calming effect because you focus on one spot on your body - which helps with sleepless nights instead of counting sheep, by the way.
6. slippers
Get into the slippers for more warmth - because the possibilities at home are endless: Within your own four walls, you can get out your unsexy slippers and even wear your beanie. Because a large part of your body heat can be stored through your head and feet.
7. candles
Of course, a candle alone is not enough to keep you toasty. But they can radiate warmth at the dining table if you set up a whole row of lanterns
