Pinterest aggregates research into thematic areas to identify micro-trends such as "Consious Consumption". Under the "Home hub", Pinterest has collected concepts relating to the modern lifestyle: from telecommuting to a fitness area to a music room, everything is brought together under one roof, highlighting two plant-based trends.

In 2019, it was all about the vertical gardens that green our interiors. This year, it's the turn of gardens filled with young plants to invade our kitchens. Many images and guides can be found under the search term "Indoor microgreens", which has increased by 223%. The desire to be able to grow your own crops all year round seems to be great.
I'm also seeing this trend elsewhere. Last year, new models of indoor flower pots and drip irrigation systems had appeared in the collections of various furniture and accessories brands. They are not only functional, but also decorative, enough to embellish living spaces.
