About the artwork of the Winged Ripper:
The Winged Ripper design was created in 1986 by artist V.C. Johnson. It was originally used as a graphic for the Bones Brigade Summer Tour 1986 on T-shirts and stickers. Later, the design was revised and used as the main graphic on decks, replacing the Oval Dragon. "XT" stands for Extra Tough Bonite construction, which was later renamed to "7-P" when the Bonite construction was discontinued.
