Being caught in the mountains without proper weather protection during a thunderstorm is at best annoying, but it can quickly become dangerous. The Simony V 2.5-layer rain jacket for men is so compact and lightweight that it fits into any backpack as a backup, even in nice weather. This is made possible by the 2.5-layer construction: the robust outer fabric and the high-performance Ceplex Pro membrane are firmly bonded together, eliminating the need for an additional lining in favor of a protective print (half layer). In addition to the waterproof membrane (with a minimum water column of 20,000 mm according to JIS L 1092 B), the outer fabric of the Simony V 2.5-layer rain jacket for men is equipped with an Eco Finish that is PFC-free, making it water- and dirt-repellent. The high breathability and ventilation zippers under the arms ensure efficient climate management, while the pre-shaped sleeves guarantee maximum freedom of movement. To protect against cold winds, the hem, sleeve cuffs, and hood can be individually adjusted. A hiking map, gloves, or a headband fit comfortably in the two large zippered front pockets.
