Our development team designed this warm fleece jacket for sailing trips with maximum comfort in cool, damp weather (7 to 10 °C). The jacket is made of fleece material and features a high collar that reliably protects you from the cold, both on the water and on land. It is lightweight and can be easily worn under a sailing jacket.

The knit structure of the fleece material provides natural insulation by trapping body heat. The brushed inner side retains air and offers a pleasantly soft and warm wearing experience. This material has been tested in the lab at a comfort temperature of 7 to 10 °C. Wind can amplify the feeling of cold, so you can wear a windproof, waterproof jacket over it if needed.

The high stand-up collar retains body heat, and the close-fitting collar design prevents wind from penetrating. The cut allows for unrestricted movement and maneuverability. You can wear this fleece jacket over a T-shirt or polo shirt and under your jacket when you choose your usual size.

The breathability of this fleece jacket corresponds to its ability to wick moisture away from the body. It is measured in RET (Resistance Evaporative Transfer) according to ISO standard 11092. The RET index describes a resistance: the lower the value, the more breathable the fabric. RET 6 to 9: extremely breathable, 10–13: very breathable, 14–17: breathable, 18–20: slightly breathable, > 20: not breathable. RET fleece 100 < 12.
