About the Cab Street Dragon Artwork: In 1987, street skating became increasingly popular. Steve Caballero was not only an excellent vert skater but also a top contender in street style. Powell-Peralta decided to release an additional Cab deck model specifically for street skating. The artist V.C. Johnson designed a new dragon graphic featuring a bat and bone background. Cab's name was also styled in the shape of a bat, as he was a fan of Batman at the time. The Powell-Peralta logo was created using the Animal Chin font, which was also a sign of the times. Originally released: 1987 Artwork by: Vernon Courtlandt Johnson Features: Screen-printed logo t-shirt large graphic on the back and small graphic on the left chest screen-printed label on the inside 100% US cotton standard adult fit classic mid-weight fabric double-stitched at the sleeve and bottom hems taped neck and shoulders 7/8" ribbed collar.
