The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is considered the world's leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibers. It sets high environmental criteria for the entire supply chain of eco-textiles, including restrictions on the use of chemicals and adherence to social criteria. OCS Blended applies to all goods that contain a blend of organic cotton and other materials. OCS 100 tracks the sourcing, processing, and use of 100% certified organic cotton fibers in yarns, fabrics, and finished products through the use of transaction certificates for factories that do not yet meet the GOTS standard.
The OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class II is a globally uniform testing and certification system that applies to raw materials used in textiles as well as to intermediate and final products at all stages of production. Textile products can only be certified according to the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 if all components meet the required criteria without exception.
The Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) is an independent, non-profit organization that works with companies and factories to improve working conditions for textile and garment workers. The FWF monitors improvements in the companies it collaborates with. By sharing expertise, fostering social dialogue, and strengthening labor relations, the FWF enhances the effectiveness of the efforts made by the companies. As a socially responsible actor, Stanley and Stella is committed to adhering to the FWF Code of Labor Practices.
