Seeland Taiga jacket

The Taiga is Seeland's warmest hunting jacket, inspired by the pine forests of Siberia. This ultra-warm jacket is designed to withstand the coldest, icy weather conditions, making it ideal for sitting hunts or snowmobile trips. It is waterproof and features a WindBeater membrane as well as 250 grams of the thickest insulation available. The interior includes microfleece in the jacket and hood to retain warmth, while the polyester lining in the sleeves allows for easy slipping on.

The jacket utilizes groundbreaking Thinsulate technology, which employs an insulating membrane made of fine microfibers to trap warm air molecules. Once the body warms up, Thinsulate helps maintain the temperature while moisture is drawn away through the outer membrane. The jacket has a detachable hood with a higher collar to fully envelop the wearer and keep the cold at bay when needed. Areas prone to wear are reinforced to enhance durability, and the lower part of the jacket is made from water-repellent Oxford nylon.

It features several practical pockets: a radio pocket, a fleece-lined hand warmer pocket, an inner pocket, and two large front pockets with quick-load straps, as well as a pocket behind the front pockets for resting the shooting arm. Additional features include a two-way zipper, snap buttons, and an adjustable hood, cuffs, and hem, along with soft storm cuffs with thumbholes to block the wind. When combined with the Taiga pants and mittens, this jacket forms an exceptionally insulating hunting suit suitable for both rifle and shotgun use, even in frosty temperatures.
