Saltoro Jacket

The Saltoro Jacket Men offers full weather protection while remaining lightweight. Mountain Equipment has equipped the hardshell with a 2.5-layer GORE-TEX® Paclite membrane, with the most exposed areas reinforced with a 3-layer laminate and a 75D thick carrier fabric. The outer material is completely waterproof and vapour-permeable. In terms of features, the Saltoro Jacket fulfils all the requirements of an alpine rain jacket. The fully adjustable hood is helmet-compatible, the pockets are set higher so that they are easily accessible even when the rucksack hip belt is fastened, the underarm ventilation optimises ventilation during physical exertion and the cut ensures full freedom of movement. The front is cut a little shorter so that belaying when climbing or running in a rope team can also take place unhindered. Despite all the technology that Mountain Equipment has built into this jacket, it doesn't immediately scream "Expedition!", but is also perfect for everyday wear or moderate hiking trips.
