This special hybrid construction combines the comfort of a softshell with the protection of a hardshell jacket in exposed areas such as the front and shoulders. The jacket follows the body mapping principle, ensuring that different parts of the body receive the appropriate material. The back and arms feature Durastretch softshell material with 22 percent fine merino wool for high breathability and optimal moisture transport. In contrast, the front and shoulders are made from lightweight, windproof, and waterproof three-layer Powertex material, which reliably protects against adverse conditions.

The softshell jacket is the ideal companion for all winter ventures in the backcountry, featuring a Direct Access chest pocket for quick access to the avalanche transceiver or layers underneath, thanks to an innovative zip system with a double slider. The zips are waterproof, and the cuffs can be adjusted via Velcro fastening to fit snugly over gloves. Both materials are equipped with a durable water-repellent, PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) impregnation.
