Salewa Puez Aqua 4 PowerTex 2.5L Jacket

To ensure optimal protection in harsh conditions, we developed and extensively tested our Puez Aqua Jacket among the rugged mountain peaks of the Dolomites. The 2.5-layer ripstop fabric with Powertext® membrane is made from 57% recycled materials and is the ideal companion in adverse weather conditions. With a water column of 10,000 millimeters, the material is reliably waterproof: The water column measures the pressure required for water to penetrate the fabric. Nevertheless, the jacket remains highly breathable at 10,000 g/m²/24h: This means that within 24 hours, 10 liters of water vapor can evaporate per square meter – ensuring comfortable wear even during strenuous activities.

The design and features of the jacket are tailored for full functionality during alpine hikes and trekking tours: The fully taped seams, waterproof zippers, and durable water-repellent DWR coating reliably protect against moisture and rain both in the front and at the pockets. Weighing in at just 310 grams, the Puez Aqua is lightweight – when packed in your backpack, it weighs about as much as two apples.

The Puez Aqua is made from recycled materials and features a PFC-free, durable water-repellent DWR finish. It is part of the SALEWA® Committed collection, where products are produced according to independently verified environmental and social standards.
