Salewa Pedroc 16

The Pedroc 16 was developed on the wild, narrow trails of the Dolomites and tested in this challenging terrain to provide maximum comfort in demanding conditions.

The lightness, breathability, and high wearing comfort of our Pedroc 16 are achieved through the Dry Back Contact system: The generous ventilation channels reduce the contact areas between the backpack and the back, ensuring better air circulation and ventilation through their design. For a close fit that stays in place even during intense speed hiking activities, the shoulder straps are directly integrated into the back system. Additionally, the ergonomically shaped and split shoulder straps enhance breathability and freedom of movement, while the thoughtful cutouts further reduce weight.

The Pedroc 16 is made from our specially developed 70 Denier Duralite material. The double ripstop nylon construction is characterized by its high abrasion and tear resistance despite its very low weight.

The backpack is equipped with a hydration system preparation, easily accessible side pockets with zippers, and a front access to the main compartment. With the One-Hand Compression system, the backpack can also be quickly adjusted on the go: Simply pull on the top cord to compress the backpack without having to set it down.

The Pedroc 16 is part of the SALEWA Committed collection and stands out for its low ecological footprint thanks to its PFC-free, water-repellent DWR treatment.
