The sporty design of the Pedroc 16 from Salewa makes this hiking backpack ideal for fast speed hiking tours as well as regular hiking. The backpack features a side compression system and can be individually adjusted. The ergonomically shaped shoulder straps and the soft padded back made of EVA foam ensure high carrying comfort on every mountain tour. The chest strap is height-adjustable and can be easily adjusted on the go. The hiking backpack is made from durable Duralite fabric and has water-repellent zippers that protect your gear from water ingress. The spacious main compartment is easily accessible from the front. A key clip and a practical inner pocket for valuables leave nothing to be desired. Your trekking poles can be conveniently stored in a designated side pocket of the Salewa Pedroc 16.

The Salewa Committed symbol identifies products that meet strict internal criteria at Salewa regarding environmental and social sustainability. A Salewa product must meet two mandatory criteria as well as at least one additional criterion. The mandatory criteria include:
1. Chemically tested: For more than 90% of the product weight, at least one of the following criteria is met: a) The main material (or the entire product) has been externally chemically tested in accordance with the chemicals regulation by Oberalp. b) The main material is bluesign certified.
2. Control of social standards in production: The second mandatory criterion is compliance with social standards and appropriate working conditions at a production facility, which are verified by external audits.

Depending on the product, additional criteria may include upcycling, recycling, specific material compositions, PFC-free treatments, or down from responsible sourcing.
