Salewa Ortles Hybrid TirolWool® Responsive Weste

The latest version of our Ortles Hybrid TirolWool® Responsive Vest has been specifically designed for the demands of alpine activities: The functional insulation layer offers excellent temperature-regulating properties, protecting against cooling in rapidly changing indoor and outdoor temperatures.

Our specially developed TirolWool® Responsive insulation material is made from the valuable wool of Tyrolean mountain sheep and is enhanced with innovative polyester fibers. These fibers contain thermoreactive minerals that recycle the far infrared energy (FIR) emitted by the body and release it slowly. This results in long-lasting, sustainable warmth. The TirolWool® Responsive material is water-repellent, breathable, and provides warmth even when wet.

Durastretch inserts are incorporated at the back and sides, which, thanks to the wool content (22 percent), offer particularly pleasant wearing comfort and allow freedom of movement due to the elastane. Additional features, such as the ergonomically shaped collar, the full-length front zipper with a windproof backing, and the pocket in which the vest can be completely stowed, make the Ortles Hybrid TirolWool® Responsive Men's Vest the ideal companion in the mountains.
