The Ortles 3L Powertex jacket was developed, tested and perfected during high alpine mountaineering and ski touring in the Dolomites.
Designed as a reliable hardshell for the big mountain adventures, it is made from our lightweight, durable Powertex fabric in a 3-layer laminate construction. This simple but fully featured shell has a waterproof front zip and taped seams. Ample ventilation is provided by large zips on the underarms. The hood, which can be worn under a helmet, merges into the high collar, which closes just under the chin to ensure a better field of vision. The helmet straps are routed through the collar. The innovative Direct Access zip with double slider allows access to the inner pocket and the layers underneath, including instant access to an avalanche transceiver - practical and safe!
The Ortles 3L Powertex jacket has a PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) coating and is a Salewa Committed product, manufactured according to additional, strict and independently audited environmental and social standards.
