Our products for high alpine tours are named after the Ortler – the highest point of the Southern Limestone Alps. The Ortles 3L GORE-TEX jacket is a mobile alpine stronghold with full storm protection.

It is optimally waterproof and breathable, made from a lightweight and durable material: We use 3-layer GORE-TEX with a special, extremely robust membrane and a woven GORE Micro-Grid backer layer, along with lighter GORE-TEX PACLITE inserts to further reduce weight. The straightforward yet fully functional shell features an ergonomically shaped, helmet-compatible storm hood with a high collar and a one-handed adjustable system at the back, a waterproof front zipper, adjustable sleeve cuffs with Velcro, and pit zips for underarm ventilation.

The Ortles 3L GORE-TEX jacket is a Salewa Committed product, manufactured according to additional, strict, and independently verified environmental and social standards.
