Salewa Fanes TirolWool® Responsive Jacket

The Fanes TirolWool® Responsive Jacket combines water-repellent and windproof ripstop nylon fabric on the exterior with a lightweight 60-gram TirolWool® Responsive insulation in the body. The sleeves feature our comfortable Sarner knit material. With its characteristic knitted collar and elastic cuffs at the sleeve openings and hem, this modern hybrid jacket stays true to the bomber jacket style.

For additional water and dirt resistance, the outer material is equipped with a PFC-free DWR finish. The locally sourced wool used for the TirolWool® insulation is combed and dyed in Italy. Subsequently, the TirolWool® insulation is enhanced with so-called Responsive minerals: Responsive is a blend of thermoreactive minerals that are pulverized and melted into a resin, which is then incorporated into the core of recycled polyester fibers. This gives the fabric the ability to convert, store, and gradually release the body's radiant heat as infrared light.
