The Sarner knitting construction is a very dense wool knitting technique from the Sarntal Valley in South Tyrol. This traditional method creates soft fabrics that are resistant to wind and rain. The 400-gram lightweight Sarner Lite knitting blend used here is spun, knitted, and sewn in Italy according to alpine tradition. It consists of a soft, hybrid AlpineWool® material blend, which incorporates recycled wool, viscose, and polyamide with elastane. We combine this functional material with lightweight, soft, and cozy Merino wool fleece inserts that contain recycled polyester and additional elastane.
