Tradition meets innovation – the Fanes Sarner Down Hybrid features a multifunctional body mapping design: for the body, we used fluffy white duck down (90/10) with a fill power of 750 cuin, and the sleeves are made from 100% recycled wool following the Sarner construction method. The down filling is complemented by an extra lightweight, permanently water-repellent material.

For the RDS-certified down, we check at every stage of the supply chain to ensure that the ducks from which it comes are not subjected to force-feeding or live plucking. The Sarner links knit is a traditional South Tyrolean wool processing technique. The result is a dense wool fabric that is exceptionally warm and better withstands wind and rain. For the sleeves of this jacket, we used a blend of recycled wool and synthetic yarns, resulting in a particularly soft Sarner knit with hydrophobic properties.

The Fanes Sarner Down Hybrid has numerous functional details, such as an insulated hood with a high integrated storm collar, ergonomic shoulders, and sleeve construction with gussets for unrestricted freedom of movement. The front zipper is equipped with a continuous inner wind flap to keep icy drafts out. The jacket features two zippered handwarmer pockets and two spacious mesh inner pockets.
