In harsh weather conditions, we need reliable companions to protect us from wind and precipitation. The Fanes 3L Powertex Hemp Parka is a functional, well thought-out and weatherproof parka with a removable inner jacket.

Its three-layer outer fabric is made of robust cotton fibres blended with tear-resistant and sustainable hemp fibres and processed in a close-meshed structure with our proven Powertex technology to create a technical, waterproof and breathable material.
Inspired by the functional clothing used to climb the highest mountains in the world, the Fanes 3L Powertex Hemp 2-in-1 Parka thus impresses with a highly functional high-tech cotton blend.

Not only the clean design as well as the discreet look make the parka a versatile companion: thanks to the well thought-out material selection and the technical features, the jacket can be used from autumn to spring. If the inner jacket is removed, the softshell jacket is suitable for mild but wet weather. In cooler but dry conditions, the warm and padded TirolWool® Responsive jacket can also be worn alone. In winter, again, both layers are combined: so the insulating parka provides warmth and weather protection when it gets cold and uncomfortable. The jacket is equipped with an environmentally friendly PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) impregnation, and the TirolWool® also comes from Tyrolean mountain sheep from the region. This makes the parka part of our Salewa Committed collection, whose products are characterised by a low ecological footprint.
