Salewa Fanes 2 Layers Powertex 2 In 1 Jacket

This thoughtfully designed 2-in-1 jacket with thermoregulating insulation can be worn either alone as a waterproof, breathable softshell jacket or as an insulating inner jacket – or in combination as a protective jacket in autumn and winter.

The two-layer outer material is made from our Powertex fabric, which has a high waterproof rating of 20,000 millimeters. The water column measures the pressure required for water to penetrate the fabric. Additionally, the material is equipped with a PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating that protects against both water and dirt, contributing to breathability. The jacket is part of the Salewa Committed collection, whose products are manufactured according to strict environmental and social standards.

The inner jacket features our 80-gram lightweight TirolWool® Responsive insulation, sourced from the wool of Tyrolean mountain sheep that live year-round at elevations above 2000 meters and have adapted perfectly to harsh weather conditions. The insulation material is also enhanced with Responsive yarns: these yarns contain thermoreactive minerals that recycle the far infrared energy (FIR) emitted by the body and release it slowly. This creates long-lasting, sustainable warmth. The inner jacket is removable and is ideal for cold but dry weather.

Behind the simple design lies high functionality: the two-way front zipper is water-repellent, the sleeve cuffs can be adjusted in width with a snap button, and the hood is adjustable.
