Salewa Fanes 2 Layers Powertex 2 In 1 Jacket

This sophisticated 2-in-1 jacket with thermo-regulating insulation can be worn either separately as a waterproof, breathable softshell jacket as well as an insulating inner jacket - or in combination as a protective jacket in autumn and winter.

The two-layer outer material is made of our Powertex fabric, which has a high waterproofness (water column) of 20,000 millimetres. The water column describes the pressure needed for water to penetrate the fabric. In addition, the material is equipped with a PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) impregnation, which not only protects against water but also against dirt and thus contributes to breathability. The jacket is also part of the Salewa Committed collection, whose products are manufactured according to strict environmental and social standards.

The inner jacket uses our 80 gram lightweight TirolWool® Responsive insulation, which is made from wool from Tyrolean mountain sheep that live at over 2000 metres all year round and have adapted ideally to the harsh weather conditions.
The insulation material is also finished with Responsive yarns: These yarns contain thermo-reactive minerals that recycle and slowly release the far-infrared energy (FIR) radiated by the body. This creates long-lasting, sustainable warmth. The inner jacket is also removable and is ideal for cold but dry weather.

The simple design conceals a high level of functionality: the two-way front zip is water-repellent, the cuffs can be adjusted in width via a press stud and the hood is adjustable.
