The outermost layer is made of cotton or nylon depending on the color choice. The rubber back, which is not visible, makes the bag waterproof and odor-proof. The black activated carbon filter is embedded between the two white synthetic filter layers. All bags have rubberized zippers, genuine leather accents and metal hardware, making them very durable. To get rid of trapped odors, the bags can be turned over and exposed to a heat source. A few minutes in the dryer will do wonders. The leather strips on the zipper are designed for transport purposes and should be removed before first use.
