The UV protection factor of 50+ has been tested according to the EN 13758-1 +A1 standard. The product only protects the skin underneath. UV protection may be compromised if the product is very tight-fitting, if the fabric is stretched, or if it is wet. Additionally, wear and tear, pool chemicals, and saltwater can diminish the protection over time.
