Product details

The new Ravine 28 is a lightweight, minimalist, and technical freeride backpack designed for quick ascents and challenging descents. The unique feature: all essential gear can be stored and accessed on the go without having to remove the backpack.

With the help of a quickly adjustable parallel ski attachment with a carabiner, even wide freeride skis can be secured to the backpack with just one hand during short carrying sections. A practical additional pocket at the bottom of the backpack provides space for crampons and snowshoes, keeping them readily accessible without needing to take the backpack off. The separate safety compartment allows for quick access to all emergency equipment as well as a lightweight ice axe, while all items in the main compartment can be reached from the top or the side. Additionally, the Ravine 28 features the usual attachment options for skis, poles, ropes, helmets, and ice screws, as well as a map pocket and hydration system preparation.

Thanks to the ergonomic Full Contact Light Back System, the backpack distributes the load optimally along the back and conforms to the spine without slipping. For added protection of the spine, the Ravine 28 can be equipped with the Clasp Spine Protector on the inside. The spine protector is certified according to motorcycle standards, sold separately, and can be easily slid into a separate inner pocket.

In addition to safety and functionality, the Ravine 28 also focuses on environmental sustainability: the freeride backpack is completely PFC-free and is produced in a climate-neutral manner from recycled polyamide.
